Timothy M. Daley A lifelong student of history, Tim currently resides in the historic Collinwood community on Cleveland’s eastside. He is a graduate of John Hay High School and Cleveland State University and holds a Master’s Degree in History from John Carroll University. Tim retired as the Executive Director of the Cuyahoga County Soldiers’ & Sailors’ Monument in 2021. This allows him to pursue his passion of history, in general, and the Civil War, in particular. His main hobby is antiquing; especially the thrill of the hunt for anything Civil War. Tim’s past and current involvement with various civic and fraternal organizations allows him to share his love of history with others. A public speaker for many years, he brings history to life for students and children both young and old. He enjoys participating in historic or period commemorations bringing life to our past. Tim is an avid Snoopy® and rabbit collector and loves to read and travel

Mary Louise Jesek Daley Mary Louise is an advocate of history. She is an Alumna of Villa Angela Academy (VA) and Western Reserve College (CWRU). Currently she serves as Executive Administrative Assistant for Councilman Michael D. Polensek of Cleveland City Council and serves the Collinwood community with, other than just the mundane service issues, special development projects community organizations. As Chair of the Collinwood Nottingham Historical Society, she is active in the preservation and teaching of local history. While a Docent at the Soldiers & Sailors Monument, she delved into the research and sharing of Civil War history. She shares her life with her husband, Timothy, now 20 years, and together they love to explore historic sites, travel, collect old books & documents, and other British/Eastern European & American antiques. She shares her house, now sans any real pets, with stuffed bears, sheep, rabbits, and the occasional cow, dragon or other fantastical beast.
